CMC Kuhnke – BCL Buckle and Burst Tester

Buckle and Burst Tester for measuring the pressure at which the lid or bottom buckles and the pressure at which the lid or bottom bursts

Suitable for food-ends, easy-open and peel-off lids and bottoms.

Operation
The lid/bottom is clamped between two holders, after which pressure is built up under the lid. When leakage occurs, a pressure drop occurs which is registered. The test time can be freely determined.

Equipped with RS232 output for data transfer to CMC Kuhnke Visionary 9 SPC Software.
A lid holder is required for every size of lid/bottom, which can be changed quickly.
