X-ray Inspection System
X-ray Inspection system for inspecting products for contamination and checking packaging for deformations, damage, degree of filling/completeness or the presence of certain necessary elements
Operation
The operation of X-ray machines is based on differences in density and thus on the different radiation absorption levels of objects that are not related to the product. Therefore, with one system it is possible to inspect a range of otherwise unidentifiable features, including contaminants (such as bones, stones, ceramics, PVC, teflon, glass, rubber, fiberglass, etc,) non-ferrous and non-magnetic stainless steel metal contaminants (even in metal foil packaging or with aluminum foil), package defects (such as deformations and cracks, completeness and degree of filling, also in closed packages), presence of necessary elements (such as the surprise in a chocolate egg, pins in a wrapped shirt or air bubble detection).
